COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL)- This afternoon, we are tracking a few stray showers and hot temperatures. Heat Index readings have warmed above 100 degrees for most.
Sunday: Another hot day is ahead for the end of your weekend. Highs will reach into mid 90s with feel-like values in the 100s. A few pop-up showers will still be possible in the afternoon.
Next Week: Rain chances will taper off for the start of next week as high pressure comes back into the forecast. Feel-like temperatures will sit in the 100s through next Thursday.
A stalled out front will move through the southeast at the end of the week. This will help rain chances ramp up. Scattered showers and storms will be possible starting Thursday through Sunday. More rain will cause temperatures to cool back off.
