BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - Boats are revving up on Lake Champlain this weekend to raise money for kids who have, or have had, cancer and their families.
More than 65 boats are docking at the Burlington Harbor Marina for the Boat Poker Run to raise money for Camp Ta-Kum-Ta. “Last year we were able to donate $60,000 to Camp Ta-Kum-Ta, we’re hoping to break that this year. We’ve got a lot of fantastic boats from all over the Northeast and some even further away, some as far as Missouri,” organizer Brian Hoar said.
