An urgent search has been launched following the disappearance of a man who was involved in a Renfrewshire crash.
Paul Smith, 43, was last seen at around 1am on Saturday, August 16, following a crash involving a Volkswagen Tiguan on the B780, Old Greenock Road, near the Gleddoch Hotel.
Concerns are growing as Paul could have been injured in the crash, with police saying it is "vital" he get in touch with his family.
Paul is described as around 5ft 10ins tall, of a medium build, with brown hair. When last seen he was wearing black jumper and black tracksuit bottoms.
Inspector Megan Logan said: “Extensive enquiries and searches are being carried out to trace Paul as we need to make sure he is safe and well.
“He may have been injured in the crash and it is vital that he gets in touch w
