FOXBOROUGH, Mass. —

The Patriots are getting ready to play the Minnesota Vikings in the second preseason game on Saturday.

Reports from joint practice have indicated the Pats offense has performed well against the Vikings defense, but that the New England defense has struggled against Minnesota quarterback JJ McCarthy, who is not expected to play on Saturday.

Pats head coach Mike Vrabel said quarterback Drake Maye has been making progress this week.
