The Crew are entering the final stretch of the regular season , with only nine games remaining before the MLS Cup playoffs begin in two months.

Of those games, two will be against Toronto FC , which is one of the two Eastern Conference opponents the Crew have yet to face this season. To start the series, the Crew have a road matchup on Aug. 16.

"I expect a hard game," Crew defender Malte Amundsen said. "We’re going to have to fight and do our stuff well, but this is what we train for, and this is what we want to do. I feel like we’re starting the second part of the season, and I can’t wait to go attack it the way we want to."

The Crew will host Toronto at Lower.com Field on Sept. 20 in one of their final four games of the regular season.
