FAIRFIELD, Maine (WABI) - A man is facing several charges after an investigation into several burglaries and thefts in Fairfield.

Christopher Varney, 41, of Fairfield is charged with burglary, theft, and violating conditions of release.

Varney was arrested on Friday after police searched a home on Six Rod Road in Fairfield.

He was taken to Somerset County Jail where he was denied bail.
