GRAND FORKS — A woman was seriously injured in a crash in rural Grand Forks County on Friday, Aug. 15.

According to a report from the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly before 8 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 15, on North Dakota Highway 15, near its intersection with 22nd Street Northeast. It involved a 2014 Nissan Juke, driven by a 50-year-old Hatton woman, and a 2013 Peterbilt semi.

The NDHP report said the "Nissan Juke was traveling eastbound on ND Highway 15 near mile marker 122. The Nissan driver was following an eastbound Peterbilt semi that was turning right onto County Road 13 (22nd Street NE).
