Frank Lampard hailed Coventry City’s 5-3 comeback victory at his former club Derby County as one of his favourite games since joining the club.

The Sky Blues twice took the lead in an end to end first half at Pride Park through goals from Bobby Thomas and a Haji Wright penalty, only to be pegged back twice to go in 2-2 at the break. The Rams then took the lead early in the second half before three goals in the space of seven minutes from Brandon Thomas-Asante, Ephron Mason-Clark and Victor Torp stunned the home crowd and secured the full three points for the visitors.

“I thought we were fantastic,” said Lampard, reflected on the 5-3 victory.
