PATRICK MAHOMES' mother was overcome with emotion after spotting her late mom in a new documentary on the Kansas City Chiefs.

ESPN+ recently commissioned a six-episode fly-on-the-wall docuseries about the beaten Super Bowl 59 finalists.

Mahomes' late grandmother, Debbie Bates, made two appearances in a teaser trailer for 'The Kingdom'.

Mahomes hugged his grandmother in one of the clips, with Bates' other appearance coming in the form of a snippet of a home video.

And his' mother, Randi Martin, was moved by her late mom's appearance in the doc.

So much so that she took to Facebook to pay tribute to her.

She wrote: "My momma made a cameo on Kingdom tonight!!!

"Miss her so much!!! I know she’s smiling (well…YELLING LOUD) from Heaven!!"
