WhatsApp messages sent by a mother accused of killing her two children in Karachi have surfaced, shedding light on her involvement in the crime.

According to details, the woman, identified as Adeeba, exchanged messages with her ex-husband Ghufran both before and after allegedly murdering her son and daughter. In one message sent after the killings, Adeeba wrote: “Now you must be happy, do you see what I have done because of you?”

The conversations reveal routine discussions in the hours leading up to the incident. At Adeeba’s request, Ghufran had bought Independence Day clothes for the children.

Messages also show her asking about their preparations: “Does Zarrar have a shalwar kameez for tomorrow?” and “Tell Sameeha what to wear tomorrow.”
