BEREA, Ohio (WKBN) - The Cleveland Browns announced that rookie Dillon Gabriel is expected to start at quarterback for Saturday's preseason game in Philadelphia.
Gabriel has been limited in practice recently, battling hamstring tightness. He returned to participating in team drills on Aug. 11.
Veteran quarterback Tyler Huntley is also expected to play in Saturday's game.
Meanwhile, Kenny Pickett will not play as he continues working his way back from a hamstring injury.
Shedeur Sanders will miss Saturday's game after suffering an oblique injury during practice on Wednesday.
Joe Flacco is healthy but will not play against the Eagles, according to head coach Kevin Stefanski.
The Browns and Eagles will kick off on Saturday at 1 p.m. The game will be televised locally on WYTV-33.
