INDIANAPOLIS — The top five hottest temperatures of the summer are possible this weekend with highs forecast in the low to mid 90s, and max heat indices from 100-105 degrees. In addition, pop-up storms and a round of storms overnight could bring an isolated damaging wind threat.

Most of the day will be dry but an unstable atmosphere and ample moisture could prompt a few pop-up storms. There is a chance of an isolated strong to severe storm across the northern half of the state with damaging wind gusts as the primary threat.
