JANESVILLE, Wis. -- A slow-no-wake restriction was placed on a portion of the Rock River Saturday morning.

The Rock County Sheriff's Office said the water level for the river in Afton is 6.61 feet. County ordinance requires a slow-no-wake speed restriction be placed on the river in Afton when the water level exceeds 6.5 feet, and now applies from the Indianford Dam south to the W B R Townline Road Bridge has been placed.
