LAREDO, Tx. (KGNS) - Laredo Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened in central Laredo early Saturday morning.

The incident happened on Aug. 16, 2025 at around 1 a.m. near the 100 block of West Clark.

According to Laredo Police, a 20-year-old was shot by a man known to the victim.

The victim was taken to a Laredo hospital where they later passed away.

Police say the suspect, who has been identified is on the run from the law.

At this time the victim’s identity has not been released and the incident remains under investigation.
