Demayha Hooker (8) and the Lady Lions (2-4) will play their first game in Brownwood at 6 p.m. Tuesday as they welcome the Lampasas Lady Badgers to the Brownwood Coliseum.

ABILENE – The Brownwood Lady Lions split their final two matches at the Bev Ball Classic Saturday, knocking off Sweetwater before falling to Jim Ned.

In a straight-set victory over Sweewater, Aniah Hines led the charge eight nine kills followed by Icess Hall with five, Demayha Hooker with four, Hannah Deen with three, Kaydence Chanlder with two, and Ashantia Green with one.

Hall distributed 19 assists with Lanie Johnson and Deen adding one each.

Johnson served a team-best six aces along with one apiece by Deen, Hines and Green.
