Sheffield United boss Ruben Selles refused to be drawn too strongly on the club’s transfer interest in Coventry City defender Bobby Thomas following the Blades’ 1-0 defeat at Swansea but hinted that something might transpire in the “coming days”.

The result means Selles has lost all three of his games since succeeding Chris Wilder earlier this summer. United’s interest in the Sky Blues defender was revealed as they look to replace the departed Anel Ahmedhodzic.
