BUCKHANNON, W.Va. (WV News) — College classes are getting ready to begin, and West Virginia Wesleyan College is making sure their students are ready.

The college held their orientation on Saturday. Throughout the afternoon, the campus was filled with new and returning students anxious to continue their educational journey.

Seeing students return to the area is rewarding for the staff and professors, said James Moore, president of the college.

"It's always the most exciting time because, as much as we all enjoy the break over the summer to get ready for the next semester, we miss the energy that the students bring," he said. "When they come back, we all get pretty charged up."

Each year, the students come to orientation prepared for the start of the year, Moore said.
