Los Angeles Lakers superstar guard Luka Dončić suffered an injury during Saturday's EuroBasket exhibition game for the Slovenian national team against Latvia.

However, NBA insider Marc Stein indicated that it's not believed to be serious.

Stein reported that Dončić was diagnosed with a right knee contusion, which shouldn't affect his availability for the 2025 NBA season. That's a relief for Lakers fans, as Dončić is the present and future of the franchise.

Injuries are always scary, but injuries sustained in non-NBA activity can creep up on fans out of nowhere. Luckily, it sounds like Dončić's latest injury won't sideline him for long.

We'll keep you updated once we know more about the NBA superstar.

When will the Lakers' 2025 season start?

The season starts in Los Angeles on Oct. 21 against the Golden State Warriors.
