The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County rose one-tenth of a cent Saturday to $4.314, the sixth time in seven days it has changed by two-tenths of a cent or less.

The average price is a half-cent more than one week ago, but 4.3 cents less than one month ago and 15.2 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the American Automobile Association and the Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $2.059 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.

“As the summer road trip season winds down, local drivers are continuing to pay the lowest gas prices since 2021,” Doug Shupe, the Automobile Club of Southern California’s corporate communications manager, said in a statement issued Thursday.
