CLEVELAND, Ohio -- A hot and muggy Saturday afternoon didn’t keep members of the neighborhood surrounding Story Church on Madison Avenue from being transformed into a vibrant community gathering spot as the Summer Block Party returned for its third year.

The free event, co-hosted by Story Church and the Twice Blessed Free Store, welcomed residents from noon to 3 p.m. Guests kept cool with large cups of lemonade and frosty ice cream.

Located at 9900 Madison Avenue, the family-friendly celebration featured live music, complimentary food, and activities, including a crafts table, and prize bin and a rubber duck pond for children. Young attendees enjoyed a bounce house while all guests had access to hamburgers and hot dogs throughout the afternoon.
