Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake's Dexter Jackson to be inducted into Greater Capital Region Track, Field and Cross Country Hall of Fame

The widespread misconception is that nothing is learned in the late days of June. That wasn’t true for then-Brittany Dexter.

Competing in the Francis L. Stevens Elementary School field days as a fourth-grader, she learned about a sport that she quickly would fall in love with, and one that rewarded her all the way until this fall. Now-Brittany Dexter Jackson will be part of the eighth class of inductees to the Greater Capital Region Track, Field and Cross Country Hall of Fame, on Oct. 4 at the Albany Marriott.
