Several countries, including Saudi Arabia, Iran, Russia and Kuwait, have extended condolences and expressed solidarity with Pakistan in the wake of catastrophic monsoon floods that have left at least 313 people dead and caused widespread devastation in parts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P).

In a statement issued on Saturday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia conveyed the Kingdom’s "sincere condolences and sympathy" to the government and people of Pakistan over the loss of lives caused by floods and torrential rains.

The ministry reaffirmed Riyadh’s solidarity with Pakistan during this difficult time and expressed its support for the bereaved families, wishing the injured a swift recovery.
