CORTLAND - Motorcyclists joined for a special ride in Cortland on Saturday, helping Santa bring the spirit of Christmas to children and their families all year round.

The 19th annual 'Santa Run' is a motorcycle run where drivers, who refer to themselves as the 'Bad Elves,' and Santa Claus himself drive throughout Northeastern Ohio to raise money for a place that gives holiday cheer 365 days a year.

All proceeds made from the day go towards Santa's Hideaway Hollow, located in Middlefield, Ohio.

Santa's Hideaway Hollow is a year-round Christmas retreat where terminally ill children and their families can create cherished memories. They can enter a world just like the North Pole or have the option to bring the North Pole to them.
