PONCHATOULA, La. —

A Ponchatoula man has been arrested for internet sex crimes against children.

According to the TPSO, the Internet Crimes Against Children task force was alerted of images being uploaded into a popular search engine in an effort to find similar images.

Detectives were able to track the activity back to an address in Ponchatoula.

A search warrant was issued and Palmisano was confirmed to have been the source of the upload and was found to have dozens of child sexual abuse material on his devices.

Palmisano is being charged with 60 counts of pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13.
