A 12-year-old boy is missing after last being seen entering Richmond Falls. His disappearance has sparked a large search operation involving multiple emergency services.

North Yorkshire Police, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue, and Mountain Rescue teams are currently at the bank of the river in Richmond after reports came in that at 5pm today - Saturday, August 16. Witnesses watched on as specialist search teams arrived at the riverside and secured the scene around Richmond Falls.
