Britney Spears' ex-husband Sam Asghari has shared his thoughts about Kevin Federline's upcoming memoir, You Thought You Knew. Asghari took a swipe at the father of six - who shares two sons with Spears - telling TMZ, "Well, he was a professional father, so it would be the first book that'll tell you how to be a professional father." The Iranian-born model is presumed to be alluding to the child support payments he received from the pop star. Federline has had majority custody of Sean, 19, and Jayden, 18, since October 2007. After 17 years, the singer's final $20,000 (£14,750) child support payment to Kevin was made in November last year. Spears and Federline were married from 2004 to 2007, and she went on to tie the knot with Asghari in 2022. The couple separated just over a year later in August 2023, and the divorce was finalised in May 2024. Asghari is now dating real estate agent Brooke Irvine, with whom he went Instagram official in December 2024. Fans of the Toxic singer used social media to slam Federline for the 'cash grab' move after he announced his plans to release his book this autumn. He shared in a press release that the book will reveal "extremely intimate and transparent" details about their "highly publicised marriage".
