GTA VI publisher, Rockstar Games and Remedy Entertainment, confirm that we’re still getting the remakes we’ve been waiting years for.

In April 2022, Rockstar Games announced that the first two Max Payne games are getting full remakes, and it’s fair to say that this news delighted fans, whether you’re a returning fan or someone new.

What’s more, Alan Wake and Control developer Remedy Entertainment is the studio handling the remakes. Which is very fitting, as it's the original developer of the first two iconic entries.

Max Payne was first released on the PlayStation 2 in 2001, and mixed with its noir-inspired storytelling, comic book presentation and high-octane action, it instantly won over fans.
