A motorcyclist was killed in a motorcycle vs. vehicle crash in Desert Hot Springs Saturday.

Officers from the Desert Hot Springs Police Department responded to the intersection of Palm Drive and Dillon Road around 7:40 a.m. Saturday to a report of a major crash.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and passenger of the vehicle suffered minor injuries and were taken to a hospital, authorities said.

Police said investigators do not believe that alcohol was a factor in the crash.

No identifying information was provided for any of the people involved.
