INGLEWOOD, Calif -- Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Quentin Johnston exited the opening series of Saturday night's 23-22 preseason loss to the Los Angeles Rams on a medical cart after a hit that left him motionless on the field for several minutes.

Coach Jim Harbaugh said that Johnston sustained a concussion and was taken to a local hospital for X-rays and further evaluation.

"That's never a good thing, but the way it looked there at the time looked like it could have been a lot worse," Harbaugh said.

"He was talking, he remembered the play, he was moving good. So in that way, it's a good thing."
