The Edmonton Police Service has cancelled a provincewide AMBER Alert, stating the child at the centre of the alert was located.

Police said the alert, which was issued at 4:57 p.m. on Aug. 16, 2025, was cancelled at 5:32 p.m.

In the updated advisory, officials said: “The Edmonton Police Service is cancelling an AMBER Alert. The child has been located.”

The original advisory said: “At 4 p.m., Leonard Willier took two-year-old Aurora Alexis from the area of 106 Street and 31 Avenue and fled in a 2018 white Toyota Tundra with Saskatchewan plate 786 JBH. There may be additional occupants in the vehicle.

“Willier is described as 6 foot with a stalky build. Aurora has brown hair and brown eyes.”
