Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has refused to confirm who will start in goal for their opening Premier League fixture against Arsenal.

Andre Onana has recovered from a hamstring injury after missing the entirety of United's pre-season schedule. Altay Bayindir started in four of United's five friendlies amid Onana's absence.

United have explored the possibility of recruiting a new goalkeeper this summer and attempted to sign Emiliano Martinez on loan from Aston Villa. The club will not pursue a move for Gianluigi Donnarumma.

The MEN revealed in May that a new goalkeeper was not considered a priority by United, who could still reinforce their midfield before the transfer window closes.
