'I'm 40 but still get asked for ID at gigs'

A 40-year-old mum says men mistake her and her teenage daughter as sisters or friends at gigs - with her teenager admitting it's 'annoying' when young lads hit on her mother. Lynsey Schofield said people often think she's 20 years younger than she is when she goes to gigs with her teenage daughter.

The 40-year-old was just 21 when she had her daughter, Melody Heslop, 19, and the two are best friends. The lookalike pair go to concerts and festivals together and have seen Liam Gallagher, The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, James, and most recently, Oasis together.
