EL PASO, Ill. (WMBD) - El Paso-Gridley made a switch at the quarterback position in 2024 en route to their fourth straight playoff birth.

Then-QB Owen Berquist moved to wide receiver while Owen Adams took on the duties under center.

Now entering their first full season in their new positions, the success of EPG's offense will hone on the connection and chemistry between the two Owen's.

"I think I made the switch because I think it'll benefit our team more, and obviously it was hard, but if it's for the team, then I'm fine with that. I'm super excited to switch actually. It's a very great skill to have that I played quarterback and that I know the defense and whatnot."
