DEWITT, Mich. (WILX) - Community members got together in downtown DeWitt on Saturday for the 79th Annual Ox Fest.
The event allows people to have fun through various activities such as karaoke, live music, fireworks, and more.
Sherylland Graf one of the organizers, spoke on the community aspect of this event.
“It’s about celebrating community,” said Graf. “This event can’t happen without an entire community. It is our city administration, it is our city government, it is our police department, it is our fire department, it is our EMS ambulance service.[...] It’s a community event to really celebrate just to celebrate and come together kind of the last hurrah for summer.”
