HOT SPRINGS, Ark. — Members of two teams competing in the Babe Ruth World Series laid a wreath at the Babe Ruth statue at Majestic Park on Saturday, honoring the baseball legend on the 77th anniversary of his death.

The 2025 Babe Ruth World Series has been held at Majestic Park this week, the site where a then-20-year-old Babe Ruth spent spring training with the Boston Red Sox.

"This is an especially appropriate moment for us to honor The Babe, since the 2025 Babe Ruth League World Series is now under way at Majestic Park, where Babe played and practiced in the early years of the 20th Century," said Steve Arrison, CEO of Visit Hot Springs.
