WILLIAMSPORT, P.A. (Dakota News Now) - The Sioux Falls Little League team is just a few days away from their next game.
After practice, the team spent this afternoon fishing with their league-assisted “team uncle” and took part in a Williamsport tradition when they came back: pin trading.
Last year, the Sioux Falls Little Leaguers introduced Dakota News Now to the world of Pin trading.
This time around, the guys let us go trading with them.
No one knows when it officially started, but it’s believed to have started by a team from Chinese Taipei in the mid-1970s. It stems from customs of exchanging gifts that represent culture and where you come from.
