MAUSTON, Wis. (WMTV) - A small crowd enjoyed one of the final days of the Juneau County Fair on Saturday, despite heavy rainfall throughout the afternoon.

One worker, Logan Shriber, was making sure the attractions were safe for kids after the storm. While the rain stalled the fun for a little while, he said he was happy to see the fair get back on track.

“We saw it come over here and it was getting pretty dark," Shriber said. “And I was like, ‘holy cow!’ and it started getting all windy and cold, and it just came down. Lickity split, we all ran to our trucks just to stay out of it. When we came out, there were puddles everywhere, and here we are wiping stuff down.”

One fairgoer, Amy Powers, made the trip to Mauston from Baraboo.
