D’IBERVILLE, Miss. (WLOX) - The D’Iberville community did its part to to support a high school student recovering from brain stem surgery on Saturday.

Tyler Tillman is a football player at D’Iberville High School.

After discovering a brain tumor, Tillman had a successful surgery but now faces a long recovery and financial challenges.

To help, the Trident Foundation organized a fish fry fundraiser where all proceeds go towards the Tillman family.

President of the foundation Art Medina says they felt the need to step up and help where they can.

Medina says, “That’s what we do, that’s what the foundation is set up for. Anytime we see a member of our community in need, we try to step up and go full force, especially when it comes to children. I have a thing when I see children in need, I
