It'll be a hot and humid Sunday with hazy sunshine. You can also expect highs in the low 90s and feels-like temperatures in the upper 90s.

By Sunday evening, a cold front to the north will trigger scattered showers and storms, which begin crossing the area after 7 p.m.

Some of the storms could have tropical downpours and gusty winds. The greatest threat of severe weather and flooding is north and west of I-95.

The storms will weaken and there will be less rainfall as they reach Philadelphia, Delaware and South Jersey between 8-10 p.m. However, any storm that remains intact when it reaches Philadelphia could still have gusty winds, intense lightning and brief heavy rainfall.
