Lidl has revealed a new kitchen gadget that features 15 different cooking functions in one streamlined device. Some customers will have the chance to buy one before they hit shop shelves – and for £100 less too – if they complete a few simple steps.

The Monsieur Cuisine Smart is hailed as the "ultimate" multi-tasker that can "do it all", combining 15 different cooking functions into a single kitchen appliance. In no particular order, Lidl's device can weigh, mix, steam, stir, knead, chop, cook, sear, emulsify, puree, sous vide, roast, shred, grind and boil.

The item also features a "smart kitchen assistant", which Lidl said can save space and make cooking effortless. This will help Brits create everything from "delicious fresh dishes" to "scrumptious baked goods" quickly and effortle
