The 2025 Cocke County high school football jamboree came to a close Friday night, with a full evening's worth of action highlighted by Morristown West High School.

The Trojans took on Cherokee High School in a one-quarter-long scrimmage-style game, collecting 66 yards on five rushes and just one pass. The ground game was the strength for Morristown West all evening long, with Rodje Coates and Malachi Monroe leading the way with a combined 44 yards rushing.

Quarterback Colin Rouse completed just one pass for two attempts, but made his throws count, connecting with wide receiver Dawson Holt for an eight yard gain in Morristown West’s only passing yards of the game.
