For three years, Thanaaz Hisham relied on Lime bikes as her main mode of transport in London. But in January, she had an accident that left her hospitalised with three broken bones. Her doctors told her she may never run again. Thanaaz says Lime told her it was a user error; she maintains it wasn’t.
A regular user of the popular e-bikes, Thanaaz was used to checking bikes before she hired them. On January 16, whilst riding a Lime bike with her friend, she stopped at the side of the road to fix her hijab.
