A police incident near Penge East station has shut railway lines between London Victoria and Beckenham Junction . National Rail said service along the line will not resume until at least 1.15pm this afternoon (Sunday, August 17).
At about 10am this morning and incident took place near the railway, according to Southeastern . Trains heading from Beckenham Junction to London Victoria are now being diverted via Catford, but will not be stopping.
Affected passengers have been told to either take a London bus to Brixton and use the London Underground to reach Victoria, or use Thameslink services between Herne Hill and London Blackfriars.
Alternatively, you can also take the tram from Beckenham Junction to East Croydon station.
