They say what goes around comes around, and Dillian Whyte just found that out the hard way. Earlier this year, the heavyweight didn't hold back when he took a swipe at Devin Haney, calling his fight with Jose Ramirez boring.

Haney didn't clap back at the time, but he clearly didn't forget. Fast forward a few months, Whyte was brutally knocked out in the very first round by rising star Moses Itauma and that gave Haney the perfect opening to pull out the receipts and fire back.

After Haney's win over Ramirez, Whyte tweeted out saying, "This Haney fight is trash I can't believe I stayed up for this."

Earlier today, Haney finally got his payback-dropping a string of laughing emojis in response to that old tweet. After Whyte's brutal knockout loss, it's safe to say the old saying rings true:
