A shooting in Brooklyn left several people wounded early Sunday, according to the New York City Police Department.

At approximately 3:27 a.m., officers responded to a report of shots fired at 903 Franklin Avenue, according to the NYPD . Upon arrival, police discovered multiple people suffering from gunshot wounds inside the location.

Emergency Medical Services transported the victims to nearby hospitals for treatment. Their conditions were not immediately released.

Authorities have not yet disclosed how many individuals were injured or the circumstances leading up to the gunfire.

"There are no arrests at this time, and the investigation is ongoing," the NYPD spokesperson told Newsweek .
