If sipping wine and tucking into a cheese board while taking in views of the beautiful Midlands countryside sounds like the perfect day out, then this vintage train ride can't be missed.

A gourmet Cheese and Wine Experience is setting off from a railway station near Birmingham on two dates this August and October.

Passengers will be served an assortment of cheeses, crackers, seasonal chutney, fruits and pickles, expertly paired with two glasses of red or white wine while travelling First Class along the Severn Valley Railway.

The culinary train wide will depart from Kidderminster on a return trip to Bridgnorth, taking in tranquil views across miles of scenic countryside.
