Lorenzo Dalberto and Nahuel Manzanaro Moreno crossed the Firth of Forth from South to North Queensferry on Sunday in a boat they had made from pallets.

Lorenzo explained ahead of their successful row: “This Sunday, we’ll be attempting something a little… unconventional. We’ve built a new boat — or more accurately, a pallet boat — and we’ll be taking it to the sea to try and cross the Firth of Forth. It’s part adventure, part engineering experiment, and part glorious madness, but all for a cause that matters deeply: raising money for SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health).
