Families were turned away from a Haven park this weekend, with children and parents alike left devastated by the news.

Presthaven beach resort in North Wales had to axe bookings after a Welsh Water main which had burst caused water supply problems to multiple residencies across Flintshire.

According to the Brit-favourite holiday destination, there had been a 'major drop in water pressure' on Friday (August 15) which had lead to a loss of water supply, forcing facilities in the main park to close.

Due to this, many holidaymakers were told they would not be able to have their bookings honoured, with Haven apologising to customers for the inconvenience.
