Man shot dead on Harvard Drive in late-night Chesapeake homicide

CHESAPEAKE, VA – A man was fatally shot late Saturday night in a quiet residential neighborhood, prompting a homicide investigation by local police.

The shooting occurred around 10:44 p.m. in the 2600 block of Harvard Drive. First responders found the victim with a single gunshot wound.

He was transported to a hospital but did not survive his injuries.
