A Madison County, Kentucky woman is behind bars after allegedly causing $12,000 worth of damage to her ex-boyfriend’s car.

The Richmond Police Department said that after the couple got into an argument in early July, 31-year-old Stephanie Carlquist allegedly poured salt into the engine, glitter in the AC vent, slashed a tire, cracked the windshield, cracked the rear-view mirror and shattered the car’s radio screen.

Carlquist’s ex-boyfriend told police that she slashed the one tire on July 6, but then did the rest of the damage after another argument on July 15.

After the car was damaged, a tow truck took the car to a repair shop where the estimated cost of damages added up to nearly $12,500.
